Mother’s Day - 50x60cm Abstract Art Inspired by the towering gumWatching my children grow up and become more independent is so beautifully bittersweet. The less they need me, the more Im doing my job well. But even as they grow taller than me, I still think of them as those babies in my arms. I started this painting on Mothers Day 2023, full of love and pride and a deep desire for these days to pass a little bit slower and for them to stay my babies just a little bit longer.
